Sushi Craze


Most people think that eating sushi is always healthy, unfortunately this is not true. Many people who eat sushi choose rolls or nigiri style sushi over plain sashimi. These options have tons of sticky rice, and usually many unhealthy processed sauces and ingredients. The only real healthy way to eat sushi is sashimi style. And yes that is right…plain RAW fish. Just think about how many people probably wouldn’t do that or eat sushi if it was only served that way. Hmmmm. Just something to think about the next time you THINK that you are making the most healthy choice.

The Knockout

1 bunch celery
8 small beets
4 beefsteak tomatoes
1 cucumber
1 large zucchini
3 large carrots (1lb)
3 red delicious apples
1 bunch Italian parsley
1 lemon
1 handful ginger
1 handful turmeric root

If you do not have the turmeric root use 1 tablespoon organic fresh ground turmeric powder. The taste of this juice will literally put you in a peaceful place! Sit on the couch for 5-10 minutes and close your eyes. Think about something that makes you really happy, and put your mind at rest. This is why I named it The Knockout.
